A pair of Downtown Disney shops — one new and one remodeled — have soft opened ahead of Black Friday to capture sales from holiday shoppers spending Thanksgiving week at the Disneyland resort.
The new D-Lander Shop soft opened on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at the Anaheim outdoor shopping mall next door to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. D-Lander officially debuts on Dec. 6.
The D-Lander Shop on the west end of Downtown Disney sells trendy and stylish Disney-themed products made by Kate Spade, Dooney & Bourke and Pandora Jewelry.
The Lego Store in Downtown Disney that was closed for remodel since early October has also reopened ahead of a scheduled Dec. 1 return.

The new Avengers Reserve shop located near the new D-Lander Shop is scheduled to debut on Dec. 6.
Avengers Reserve will sell super hero collectibles, clothing, comic books and role-playing toys. The Marvel shop will feature a 9-foot-tall Incredible Hulk sculpture smashing through a wall, a Spider-Man figure atop the building and movie props inside the store.
The Disney Wonderful World of Sweets and Parkside Market will open this winter — likely sometime between late December and late March.
Wonderful World of Sweets reimagines and expands on the former Marceline’s Confectionery candy shop with an exhibition kitchen where shoppers can watch churro toffee, caramel apples, sour balls, lollipops and caramel popcorn being made by hand.
The new Parkside Market food hall-style concept on the west end of the mall will feature Seoul Sister (Korean rice bowls), Sip & Sonder (Caribbean-inspired coffee), GG’s Chicken Shop (fried chicken sandwiches) and Vista (second story bar).
Plenty of work continues in Downtown Disney with the construction of the new Porto’s Bakery, Earl of Sandwich, Pearl’s Roadside BBQ and Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon.
