“The Turkish Minister of Trade, Omer Polat, announced in a press statement today that a large quantity of drugs had been seized in the port of Amberli in Istanbul.
The minister explained that the specialized teams seized 2.4 million Captagon drug pills hidden inside a container, weighing 424 kilograms, with an estimated value of 180 million Turkish liras.
Polat praised the efforts and efficiency of the customs and border control teams, stressing the ministry’s commitment to combating drug smuggling and preserving the security and safety of citizens.”
