Norway begins European Championship qualification at the end of this month. Spain is the opponent on March 25, while Georgia is on the opposite side of the court three days later.
As usual, Strandberg was on the list when Solbakken selected the year’s first A national team squad on Tuesday.
– Stefan is in very, very good physical shape. That is not always what you have been able to say about him, said the national team manager to the press present.

Strandberg himself has expressed that he is satisfied with his own form and the system he has in Vålerenga.
– We have a very good collaboration with Vålerenga, with a view to building up Stefan. We have a very good overview of everything he has done. Stefan has trained very well, and he has played several training matches for VIF. He is in a much better place now than he has been in quite some time, said Ståle Solbakken.

In Marbella recently Strandberg said the following to Dagsavisen about own form:
– The body now is very, very nice. I have attended all of the sessions. On the other hand, I have to be a little more careful when the artificial grass is of poorer quality, such as at Ekeberg and Vallhall at home in Oslo. But otherwise I’m on board with most things. We have a good team in Vålerenga, they are good at managing and putting good plans in place for me off the pitch as well, in the gym. So the body has been absolutely perfect, it.
