The support of 37.1 per cent is an improvement of 5 percentage points for the Conservative Party since the last poll in December, writes Aftenposten. The party has not had better support since the beginning of the 80s.
For city councilor Raymond Johansen (Ap), the figures are far from pleasant. During Johansen’s “reign”, the party has been halved from 32 per cent in the local elections in 2015 to 16 per cent now, according to the survey carried out by Norstat.
If this were to be the result on election day, it would be clearly the worst result for Ap in 50 years, according to election researcher Bernt Aardal.
The survey also shows that there is a majority in favor of a change of city council, but that it is even. The bourgeois parties capture 30 mandates, against 29 for the city council parties and Rødt.
For the other parties, the measurement looks like this: Frp 5.4 (-), MDG 9.1 (-3.9), Venstre 7 (+0.8), SV 12.4 (+2.2), Red 7 .8 (-0.6), KrF 1.3 (-0.2), Sp 0.4 (-0.5), Other parties 2.7 (-1.6).
714 people were asked in the survey which was carried out between 7 and 9 March. The margin of error is not specified.
