Sweden stops sales of Easee chargers – the decision is being appealed – Dagsavisen

– We strongly disagree with the decision and will do everything we can to look after customers, partners and employees. Our main focus has always been people and safety, says general manager Jonas Helmikstøl in a press release.

It was Today’s business who first announced that the company has been banned from selling in Sweden. The company confirms in its press release that it is trying to obtain a temporary injunction against the sales ban coming into effect immediately. In addition, they notify an immediate appeal process.

The Swedish supervisory authority stated in February that they believe the product does not meet basic safety requirements for charging stations. Among other things, it concerns missing earth-fault circuit breakers.
