The upcoming Week 3 game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams promises to be another fierce divisional battle, but the 49ers are facing significant challenges due to multiple injuries on offense.

With several key players likely sidelined, San Francisco’s depth will be put to the test against its NFC West rivals.

Tight end George Kittle is the latest injury for the Niners to deal with, and he is listed as doubtful with a hamstring issue, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

If Kittle is unable to play, veteran Eric Saubert is expected to fill in.

Kittle’s toughness was on display in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings when he required an IV during the game, but this injury may prove too much to overcome.

This news compounds the 49ers’ offensive woes, as Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel have already been ruled out with leg injuries.

The concerns extend to the defense as well, with Nick Bosa and Charvarius Ward listed as questionable.

These potential absences could significantly impact the 49ers’ game plan on both sides of the ball.

However, there is some good news, as safety Talanoa Hufanga has been cleared to play following his recovery from a torn ACL. His return could provide a much-needed boost to the secondary.

The Rams have their own significant injury concerns, as star wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are out.

That could provide some relief for the 49ers defense, which has been struggling on third down.
