The Los Angeles Dodgers can punch their tickets to the World Series on Friday night, and Southern California fans itching to get their hands on some championship merchandise can do so quickly.
Dick’s Sporting Goods has announced that 15 stores across the region will stay open late on Friday night and open early on Saturday if the Boys in Blue manage to clinch the National League pennant.
Those stores include:
- West Covina
- Antelope Valley Mall
- Upland Colonies
- Cerritos
- El Segundo
- Glendale
- Chino
- Thousand Oaks
- Tustin
- Torrance
- Pasadena
- Northridge
- Santa Clarita
- Eastvale
- Esplande Center
If the Dodgers win, National League championship gear will be available immediately after the final out at these locations. They’ll also open at 7 a.m. Saturday, pending a Dodgers victory.
The Dodgers currently hold a 3-1 lead in the NLCS against the New York Mets. With a win in Queens on Friday, L.A. would advance to the World Series, where they’d meet either the Cleveland Guardians or New York Yankees, depending on how that series finishes. The Yankees lead the Guardians 2 game to 1 as of Friday morning, with Game 4 in the evening.
Game 5 of the NLCS starts at 2:08 p.m. PDT.
