– I no longer work at Equinor. Beyond that, I don’t want to say anything, says Daniel Sollien Stavanger Aftenblad.
Ahead of the ONS energy fair, Extinction Rebellion campaigned at Equinor’s processing plant in KÃ¥rstø. Sollien also participated. Kjetil Hove, executive vice president for exploration and production at Equinor, was asked after the action what he thinks about an employee demonstrating at KÃ¥rstø.
Hove replied that Equinor supports freedom of expression, but on Kårstø the demonstrators breached the safety zone, and they took that seriously.
Sollien has denied that he posed a security risk during the action at Kårstø.
