The charges come after the police found seven kilograms of hashish and marijuana in a garage in Bergen in July, reports say Bergens Tidende.
They also found firearms and a bag of ammunition.
Among the accused is a 20-year-old, who the police believe is the main man. They believe that he has made a turnover of NOK 750,000 since January 2023 as a result of the drug business, and that he has used the four underage boys as runners.
The man denies criminal guilt. It is unclear how the other four men respond to the charges against them.
The police take seriously the fact that children are used to commit crimes, says police attorney Jørgen Henriksen to the newspaper and points to the gang phenomenon in Sweden.
– It cannot be understated that the development we see in Sweden is completely beyond. We don’t want to go there. That’s why we also try to tackle this at the root, says Henriksen.
The case is expected to be fully investigated in December.
