– The victim survived because the knife did not hit vital organs, it is stated in the indictment, which was issued by the State Prosecutor in Oslo.
The attempted murder is said to have taken place in January this year, but the boy is also charged with a number of other matters, according to The messenger.
The indictment, which has 25 counts, mainly concerns violence and threats against several victims, including using a machete to the neck of one of the victims in December last year. The same victim is said to have been kicked and beaten while he was lying down.
According to the boy’s defender, lawyer Christian Nørgaard, the 15-year-old does not plead guilty to attempted murder. Norgaard is not familiar with how the boy reacts to the other charges.
The defendant is in prison following a previous conviction for attempted murder earlier this year. In October, the Borgarting Court of Appeal toughened the sentence in the case, but the judgment has been appealed to the Supreme Court and is not yet legally binding.
While the boy has been in prison, the 15-year-old is said to have used violence against and threatened prison officers several times, according to the newspaper.
