With turkey and pumpkin pie still chilling in the fridges as leftovers, Santa has begun making the rounds.
Case in point: Uptown Whittier, where the jolly old fella brought his holiday cheer on Friday, Nov. 29, and set up his Santa’s Village.
On Friday, he was posing for pictures with gleeful children, and overseeing an afternoon of crafts and face-painting, and free gift-wrapping, in an event organized by the Uptown Whittier Improvement Association and its sponsors.
But no worries, if you missed this round. Santa’s Village, at 6724 Greenleaf Ave., will be back from noon to 6 p.m. Nov. 30, Dec. 21 and Dec. 22, just in St. Nick of time for the big day.
