An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.1 rattled parts of the Southland Sunday, striking off the coast of Orange County.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the first quake struck around 4:11 p.m. and was followed by a M2.5 aftershock just four minutes later about 34 miles south southwest of Dana Point and 34 miles Southwest of San Clemente.
There were no reports of significant damage or injuries.
