526 more voting centers are opening across Los Angeles County Saturday as the presidential election nears.
More than 100 early voting centers countywide already opened on Oct. 26. The locations aren’t just for in-person voting; residents can also drop off their vote-by-mail ballots at any voting center.
One man who was voting early on Saturday at the L.A. County Registrar’s Office in Norwalk told KTLA that the “very serious” political climate is going to lead to changes.
“I think it’s a very serious situation…things are going to change, either for better or worse,” Paul Willis said. “So, I’m trying to put in that positive vote.”
Voting centers are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. They will be open for longer on Election Day (Nov. 5) from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
