Shakira cancels Kia Forum show, moves to SoFi Stadium in 2025

Shakira has no problems booking that stage you speak of, she’s had to expand her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour to stadiums.

“Following incredible fan demand and production changes, Shakira announced last week that the 2024 North American leg will be rescheduled to spring 2025, with several markets now upgraded to stadiums,” a media release stated.

The tour was set it kick off in Palm Desert, California, on Nov. 2 with a stop at Inglewood’s Kia Forum but that has since changed. All previous dates have been canceled to accommodate the massive request.

“As Live Nation communicated earlier, the demand for tickets and more shows has reached the point that our tour now requires stadiums in the USA and more dates so I can see as many of you as possible,” Shakira said through her since-expired Instagram Stories. 

The LiveNation-produced tour was initially announced in April after her surprise performance at Coachella. It follows her latest album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran,” which was released in March.

“With a new production designed with the highest technology, her biggest hits, new songs, and several surprises, the tour aims to be an unforgettable experience, both visually and musically,” the release explained. “In this return to the stages of Latin America, Shakira seeks to create a space where her fans can share and celebrate with her the power of personal rebirth like a diamond that is forged under pressure and emerges stronger and brighter after facing adversity.”

The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer will now head to Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium on June 20, 2025.

Fans can register for presale tickets now through Oct. 22 at 11:59 p.m. ET at Shakira.com. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale beginning on Oct. 25 at Noon local time.
