Frankie Muniz reveals new full-time gig

Frankie Muniz was once a child actor who always found himself “in the middle” of some tricky situations.

Now, he has officially found himself in the middle of a new endeavor- race car driving.

Muniz and Reaume Brothers Racing took to Instagram to announce that the actor had officially signed a contract to race full-time in the upcoming 2025 season of the Nascar Craftsman Truck series.

“Contract signed! Frankie Muniz to the No. 33 full-time in 2025!” the caption read.

Muniz has been racing professionally since 2006.

Last year he raced full-time for Rette Jones Racing in the ARCA Menards Series. He joined NASCAR’s National Series this year.

Sports Illustrated said he participated in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Joey Gase Motorsports and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Reaume Brothers Racing.

He told PEOPLE magazine that it has been a “dream” of his “forever.”

“I grew up watching NASCAR. I was a huge fan, but it’s not something I necessarily thought that I’d ever get the opportunity to do. I want people to know that I’ve literally dedicated my life to this,” he told the outlet.

“The Big Fat Liar” actor went on to say that while he does want people to take him seriously as a racer, he is not closing the door on acting in the future.

However, for the time being, he is fully focusing on NASCAR.
