A person was fatally shot during a robbery at a downtown Los Angeles high-rise apartment building Monday afternoon.
Just after 4:30 p.m., three men armed with guns entered an apartment at 1000 W. 8th St., according to Officer Miller of the Los Angeles Police Department.
That address corresponds to the luxury high-rise Thea at Metropolis, which was the site of another fatal shooting nearly two years ago.
This time, the robbers demanded a watch from the victim, who was then fatally shot, Miller said. The identity of the victim has not been released.
