BUTLER COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — People are being evacuated near the scene of a gas leak on Andover’s east side, including Butler Community College’s Andover campus.
Butler County dispatchers tell KSN News that a gas line was hit in the 400 block of East 13th Street, at or near Vornado.
There are no injuries.
The Andover campus of Butler Community College has canceled all afternoon and evening classes.
It is unclear how many other buildings near the gas leak are also being evacuated.
Sedgwick County dispatchers say that Sedgwick County and Wichita firefighters are assisting.
