A man was fatally shot in Whittier early Tuesday morning, Oct. 22.
The shooting occurred around 6:45 a.m. on the 11400 block of Whittier Boulevard. The man suffered a gunshot wound and was hospitalized, but later died from his injury, Whittier Police Officer Emily Armstrong said.
The circumstances of the shooting were not released. The investigation is ongoing.
