Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has been a champion of sustainable fashion. She is not shy of repeating her outfits and carrying them with utmost confidence. Recently, she repeated her Mehendi outfit for Manish Malhotra’s Diwali bash.
The Jigra actress wore a fuchsia pink lehenga which she had first worn during her Mehendi ceremony with Ranbir Kapoor in 2022. The lehenga was designed by Manish Malhotra. She went with a minimal, dewy makeup look with glossy lipstick and blush-tinted cheeks. She completed her look with a signature chaandbaali.
This is not the first time the actress repeated her wedding outfit. During the 2023 National Film Awards, the actress wore the ivory saree which she had worn for her wedding. She won the Best Actress award for Gangubai Kathiawadi and attended the ceremony with her actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor.
The hand-dyed ivory organza saree was designed by Sabyasabhi. Talking about re-wearing her saree, she said, “Whenever there is a big event or big moment coming up, you start preparing for it. I instinctively felt like, ‘I’m going to re-wear my wedding saree. It was the garment I felt most myself in. And it was a really special moment for a different reason. A special outfit can be worn for a special occasion more than once.”
