The controversial prime minister is opposed to military support for Ukraine and is also a supporter of Trump.
On Sunday, he said that he believes Trump will win and that this must have consequences for Europe’s approach to the war in Ukraine.
– If what we expect happens, and America becomes for peace, then Europe cannot continue to be for war, claimed Orban.
– Europe cannot bear the burden of war alone, and if the Americans change to peace, we must also adapt, he added.
According to the Prime Minister, Ukraine will be high on the agenda when European leaders meet in Budapest next week. Among other things, the EU leaders will have an informal meeting in the Hungarian capital.
