Nick Courie ran for 133 yards and the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter as No. 3 Peters Township clinched second place in the Allegheny Six Conference with a 31-28 victory over No. 4 Bethel Park (8-2, 3-2) on Friday night.

Nolan DiLucia threw for 137 yards and a touchdown for Peters Township (9-1, 4-1).

Tanner Pfeuffer threw for 192 yards and two touchdowns for Bethel Park, which finished third in the conference.

Here’s a look at other matchups from Friday night:

Class 6A

Central Catholic 38, Canon-McMillan 13 — Jy’Aire threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns as top-ranked Central Catholic (8-2, 6-0) beat No. 4 Canon-McMillan (3-7, 2-4) in Class 6A. Bradley Gompers and Elijah Faulkner scored two touchdowns each for the Vikings. Ty Jansma threw for 169 yards for Canon-McMillan, which fell short of a playoff berth.

Mt. Lebanon 42, Norwin 20 — Pat Smith threw three touchdown passes — including two to Noah Schaerli — and ran for two scores as No. 5 Mt. Lebanon (3-7, 3-3) beat Norwin (2-8, 0-6) in Class 6A play. The Blue Devils clinched a playoff berth with the victory. Norwin fell short of the postseason.

North Allegheny 38, Seneca Valley 0 – Colman Craft and Nick Humphries each returned punts for touchdowns as No. 2 North Allegheny (9-1, 5-1) rolled to a victory over Seneca Valley (3-6, 3-3) in Class 6A. The Tigers secured second in Class 6A. Seneca Valley qualified as the fourth-place team.

Class 5A

Moon 28, South Fayette 7 — Four different players scored touchdowns for Moon (5-4, 2-3) in its Allegheny Six Conference win against South Fayette (6-4, 1-4).

Upper St. Clair 59, Baldwin 14 — Ethan Hellman threw for 242 yards and five touchdowns to lead top-ranked Upper St. Clair (10-0, 5-0) to the Allegheny Six win against Baldwin (0-10, 0-5). Upper St. Clair led at halftime, 45-0.

Pine-Richland 44, Shaler 3 — In the Northeast Conference, No. 2 Pine-Richland (8-1, 5-0), the conference champion, beat Shaler (3-7, 1-4).

Class 4A

Ringgold 36, Chartiers Valley 26 — Ringgold (2-8, 1-4) defeated Chartiers Valley (3-6, 1-4) in Big Six Conference play. It was the Rams’ first conference win since 2019.

Thomas Jefferson 49, Laurel Highlands 7 — In the Big Six Conference, Luke Kosko threw for 107 yards and three touchdowns — all to Brayden White — as No. 2 Thomas Jefferson (10-0, 5-0) beat Laurel Highlands (4-5, 1-4). Tyler Eber ran for 153 yards and two touchdowns for Thomas Jefferson.

Mars 42, Indiana 14 — Eric Kasperowicz ran for 110 yards and three touchdowns and Nate Walker threw for 136 yards as Mars (5-5, 4-1) beat Indiana (1-9, 0-5) in the Greater Allegheny Conference.

McKeesport 46, Knoch 14 — McKeesport (6-4, 5-0) finished its Class 4A Greater Allegheny Conference schedule undefeated with a victory over Knoch (3-6, 2-3). The Knights finished in fourth place, a game behind third-place West Mifflin.

West Mifflin 70, Hampton 12 — Armand Hill ran for 241 yards and four touchdowns to lead West Mifflin (5-5, 3-2) to the Greater Allegheny Conference win over Hampton (3-7, 1-4). Jarelle Mason added 129 rushing yards and two touchdowns for the Titans, who finished third in the conference.

Aliquippa 28, Ambridge 0 — In the Parkway Conference, Marques Council Jr., threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns and ran for one TD as No. 3 Aliquippa (6-2, 4-1) shut out Ambridge (4-5, 1-4). Sa’Nir Brooks added 116 rushing yards for Aliquippa.

New Castle 50, Blackhawk 14 — Kaevon Gardner rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns as New Castle (5-4, 1-4) beat Blackhawk (4-6, 1-4) in the Parkway Conference. Kyrell Harris threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns for New Castle. Stephen Knallay tossed for 102 yards and a touchdown for Blackhawk.

Class 3A

Highlands 56, Valley 0 – Menage Lucas ran for 178 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 148 yards and three scores as Highlands made its final case for a Class 3A wild card playoff berth with a decisive win over Valley (0-10, 0-6) in the Allegheny 7 Conference. Highlands (5-4, 3-3) finished fourth in the conference standings, one game behind Freeport.

Yough 55, Derry 14 — In the Interstate Conference, Raidon Kuroda threw for 172 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 134 yards and three TDs to lead Yough (3-7, 1-4) to victory over Derry (3-7, 0-5). Anthony Sacco and Kaden Weiers scored for the Trojans.

North Catholic 55, Hopewell 43 — James Felitsky threw for 370 yards and three touchdowns as North Catholic (4-6, 3-3) kept its playoff hopes alive with the Western Hills Conference win over Hopewell (4-6, 2-4). Ryker Kennedy caught seven passes for 122 yards and a touchdown for North Catholic. James Armstrong threw for 197 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 205 yards and five touchdowns for Hopewell.

Quaker Valley 33, McGuffey 10 — Jack Diemert ran for 190 yards and three touchdowns as Quaker Valley (2-7, 1-5) beat McGuffey (0-9, 0-6) for the Western Hills Conference win.

Class 2A

Apollo-Ridge 31, Ligonier Valley 28 — Gabe Suman’s 37-yard field goal in the fourth quarter lifted Apollo-Ridge (1-8, 1-5) to the Allegheny Conference win at Ligonier Valley (3-7, 1-5). Alexander Clawson threw for 227 yards for Apollo-Ridge. John Jablunovsky rushed for 194 yards and all four Ligonier Valley touchdowns.

South Park 62, Shady Side Academy 6 — Eric Doerue ran for 142 yards and three touchdowns as No. 3 South Park (9-1, 6-0) downed Shady Side Academy (2-8, 1-5) in Allegheny Conference play. Darrin Haynes returned the opening kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown for Shady Side Academy. South Park’s Kenyan Brown scored on an 81-yard kickoff return to start the second half.

Carlynton 54, Charleroi 27 — Devonte Dean threw for 174 yards and two touchdowns and added 236 rushing yards and four touchdowns to lead Carlynton (6-4, 3-3) to the Century Conference win against Charleroi (1-9, 1-5). John Sciulli ran for 128 yards and a touchdown for Carlynton, which kept its hopes alive for a wild-card spot.

Seton LaSalle 52, Washington 28 — Michael Pastirik threw for 305 yards and four touchdowns to lead top-ranked Seton LaSalle (9-0, 6-0) over Washington (5-5, 3-3) in Century Conference play. Khalil Taylor caught six passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns for Seton LaSalle. Trenton Grooms paced Washington’s offense with 137 rushing yards.

Waynesburg Central 51, Sto-Rox 7 — Jacob Stephenson threw for 80 yards and a touchdown and ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns to lead Waynesburg Central (6-4, 4-2) to the Century Conference win over Sto-Rox (0-9, 0-6). Ross Tennant added 104 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Ellwood City 52, Beaver Falls 0 — Chris Smiley threw for 159 yards and four touchdowns as No. 2 Ellwood City (9-0, 7-0) shut out Beaver Falls (0-10, 0-7) in Midwestern Athletic Conference play. Elijah Palmer-McCane added 139 rushing yards and a touchdown in the win.

Mohawk 23, Riverside 12 — In the Midwestern Athletic Conference, Bobby Fadden threw three touchdowns as Mohawk (6-3, 5-2) clinched a playoff spot by beating Riverside (5-5, 4-3).

Union 36, New Brighton 8 — Union (3-6, 3-4) kept its wild card hopes alive with its Midwestern Athletic Conference win against New Brighton (4-6, 2-5).

Western Beaver 42, Freedom 10 — Western Beaver (7-2, 6-1) defeated Freedom (2-6, 1-6) for the Midwestern Athletic Conference win.

Class A

Shenango 49, Summit Academy 7 — A.J. Ferilla ran for 117 yards and a touchdown as Shenango (2-6, 2-4) beat Summit Academy (1-8, 0-6) in the Big 7 Conference. Jayson Applewhite threw for 158 yards and two touchdowns for Summit Academy.

South Side 14, Rochester 12 — Amare Morman and Dawson Frasier each scored on 2-yard runs as South Side (6-3, 4-2) clinched third place in the Big 7 Conference with its win at Rochester (3-6, 3-3).

Bishop Canevin 42, Burgettstown 6 — Kyle Olszewski threw for 247 yards and four touchdowns to lead No. 3 Bishop Canevin (7-2, 5-1) over Burgettstown (1-8, 0-6) in Black Hills Conference play. Damar Olds caught four passes for 83 yards and three touchdowns.

Cornell 41, Monessen 6 — Khlil Johnson ran for 181 yards and four touchdowns as Cornell (8-2, 4-2) clinched third place in the Black Hills Conference with its win over No. 5 Monessen (7-3, 3-3). Walter Clarit added 133 rushing yards and a touchdown for the Raiders.

Fort Cherry 42, Serra Catholic 3 — Matt Sieg threw for 182 yards and four touchdowns to lead top-ranked Fort Cherry (10-0, 6-0) to the Black Hills Conference win at Serra Catholic (3-7, 2-4). Ryan Huey caught a 19-yard scoring pass from Sieg and returned an interception 20 yards for another touchdown.

Clairton 69, Brentwood 7 — Jeff Thompson threw for 332 yards and four touchdowns as No. 2 Clairton (10-0, 7-0) scored 62 first-half points on the way to defeating Brentwood (4-6, 3-4) in Eastern Conference play.

Frazier 49, Springdale 13 — Frazier (1-8, 0-6) defeated Springdale (0-9, 0-7) to pick up its first Class A Eastern Conference win in the season finale.

Bentworth 40, Avella 0 — Ben Hays rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns to lead Bentworth (6-4, 4-3) to the shutout over Avella (3-7, 2-5) in a Tri-County South matchup. Bentworth clinched a playoff spot with the win.

Carmichaels 52, Mapletown 6 — Will Murray ran for 208 yards and four touchdowns and caught a TD pass to lead Carmichaels (5-3, 4-3) to the Tri-County South win at Mapletown (1-9, 0-7).

Jefferson-Morgan 28, California 27 — Houston Guseman hit Deakyn Dehoet with two touchdown passes as Jefferson-Morgan (9-0, 7-0) held off California (7-3, 6-1) to win the Tri-County South. Lee Qualk ran for two touchdowns for California, which finished second in the conference.

West Greene 29, Beth-Center 22 — In Tri-County South play, Lane Allison threw for 119 yards and one touchdown as West Greene (4-6, 4-3) beat Beth-Center (1-8, 1-6). Colin Whyte added two rushing touchdowns for West Greene, which trailed 14-0 early on.

Nonconference

Albert Gallatin 48, Weir (W.Va.) 20 — Albert Gallatin (6-3) scored 28 second-half points in its nonconference win at Weir (W.Va.) (1-7).

Central Clarion 49, Butler 14 — Jase Ferguson threw for threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 210 yards and a touchdown to lead Central Clarion (10-0) to the nonconference win over Butler (4-6). Alex Teff threw for 196 yards and both Butler touchdowns.

Fox Chapel 16, East Allegheny 14 — Luca Poli ran for 105 yards and a touchdown as Class 5A Fox Chapel (2-7) defeated Class 3A East Allegheny (1-9). Cedric Mack threw for 145 yards and both East Allegheny touchdowns.

Hempfield 41, Gateway 21 — Dominic Detruf threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns as Class 6A Hempfield (4-6) overcame a 21-point deficit to defeat Class 5A Gateway (3-7). Amari Gans ran for 184 yards and two touchdowns for Gateway.

North Hills 10, Central Valley 7 — Jack Martin rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown as Class 5A North Hills (8-2) defeated Class 3A No. 3 Central Valley (5-5). Mason Dixon ran for 50 yards and Central Valley’s touchdown.

Northgate 35, Chartiers-Houston 7 — Darius Fields ran for 205 yards and two touchdowns as Northgate (4-6) beat Chartiers-Houston (3-7) in a nonconference game. Sonteon Layne threw for 116 yards and ran for two Northgate touchdowns. Aaron Walsh rushed for 119 yards for Chartiers-Houston.

OLSH 20, Keystone Oaks 19 — In nonconference play, Vann Kavals threw for 207 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing touchdown as OLSH (5-4) overcame a 13-0 halftime deficit to defeat Keystone Oaks (4-5). Iseia Fields-Schulz caught eight passes for 142 yards and a touchdown for OLSH. Brenden Quarles threw for 141 yards and two Keystone Oaks touchdowns.

Uniontown 27, Southern Garrett (Md.) 8 — Uniontown (4-5) beat Southern Garrett (Md.) in nonconference play.
