Freddie Freeman, wife giving away free tickets to World Series

Freddie Freeman, the Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman, and his family want to take someone out to the ball game to thank fans for their support.

Freddie and Chelsea Freeman shared on Instagram that they are giving away two tickets to a World Series game and a signed baseball.

“We are so thankful for your support and kindness to our family this season and want to give back to one of you,” the Instagram caption read in part.

The winner will be randomly picked and announced via Chelsea Freeman’s account.

Earlier this summer, Freddie and Chelsea’s son Max was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome, a rare neurological condition that happens when the immune system attacks the nerve. According to the Mayo Clinic, the cause is unknown.

Chelsea Freeman shared that Max spent eight days in the hospital before going home. To show support, the Dodgers wore matching T-shirts that read #MaxStrong during their home game against the Philadelphia Phillies in August.
