Firefighters are trying to get a brush fire in Malibu under control that has damaged at least one home and grown to 30 acres.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department has forecast that the fire, fueled by Santa Ana winds, will reach 50 acres by 11 a.m.
But they do believe they might be getting the upper hand on the blaze.
City officials say residents should be prepared for potential evacuations, power outages, and hazardous roads.
