Cal Fire and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection are providing this 3D map of the Mountain Fire in Ventura County. The map allows you to view the current fire perimeter, evacuation zones and the region’s topography.
As of Thursday afternoon, the fire was estimated at 20,485 acres with no containment. An unknown number of homes have been destroyed. The cause of the fire, which started Wednesday morning in the area of Somis and Camarillo Heights, remains under investigation.
