Green Bay Packers fans might have thought that their team’s season was over after quarterback Jordan Love left Week One’s eventual loss to the Philadelphia Eagles with what appeared to be a significant leg injury.

But after it was revealed to be a sprained MCL, the hopes of the team and the fan base were not dashed.

After backup quarterback Malik Willis was able to lead the team to a 16-10 home win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week Two, there is now a chance that Love could return to play against the Tennessee Titans this week, per ESPN insider Adam Schefter.

“There is a chance that Packers quarterback Jordan Love can make it back in time to start Sunday at the Titans…But the larger point might be that, even if Love cannot make it back by Sunday, he’ll have a realistic chance to return next week at home vs the Vikings,” Schefter recently posted on social media.

What a turn of events for Love, head coach Matt LaFleur, the team, and their fans.

What was looking like a worst-case scenario for them at the beginning of the season turned into what appears to be somewhat of a minor injury.

Better yet, Willis was able to come in just three weeks after being traded to Green Bay and win a game for the team.

Regardless of whether or not Love actually plays this week, this team still can have very real Super Bowl aspirations.

With the way Matt LaFleur can coach the quarterback position and with the way this team can rally around one another, even when their most important player might be down, they are still in a really good position when it comes to this season’s hopes.
