Lamar Jackson has been a polarizing figure since he came into the league.

He was viewed as an athletic specimen based on his college film, but many wondered if his game would translate to the pros.

Given his propensity to take off on the run and extend plays with his legs, he wasn’t expected to have a long shelf life.

Two MVP awards later, and people are still refusing to give Jackson his flowers, despite performing at a high level throughout his career.

The Baltimore Ravens haven’t won a Super Bowl with Jackson, but they are continuing to grow and develop as an organization under his leadership.

He has a lot of critics, as Chase Daniel recently said on FS1’s The Facility, but he still believes that Jackson is a top-three or four quarterback in the league.

As Daniel also mentioned, the Ravens have had a strong defense for many years.

Because of this, Jackson might feel like he has to do it all on offense, proving to the defense that he appreciates what they do and the services they provide.

When he plays loose and confident, it tends to go better for him.

The Ravens are at a crucial point in their season, and Jackson and his teammates will need to step up in a big way on Sunday.

They are 0-2, and if they lose to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, it could be nearly impossible for them to rally and make a playoff push at the end of the season.
