James Harden is one of the most well-known and celebrated NBA players around but no one can deny he is missing one major accomplishment for his basketball resume.
As pointed out by Courtside Buzz, Harden is the active leader for the most career playoff games (166) without winning an NBA championship.
That raises the very pressing question as Harden gets older: will he ever win a title?

Harden has played for multiple teams that looked like championship contenders.
His Oklahoma City Thunder gave it their all, the Houston Rockets were a blast to watch, and the Brooklyn Nets were poised for greatness too.
The same was true for the Philadelphia 76ers and his current team, the Los Angeles Clippers.
Yet, Harden’s teams have never been able to seal the deal and it feels like he’s only getting further and further away from actually competing for a ring.
Last season, he posted 24.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 7.1 assists for the Clippers, proving that he is still a hugely consequential player at 35 years old.
But that wasn’t enough and the Clippers couldn’t make it out of the first round of the playoffs.
Their chances have diminished a bit over the last few months, as they have lost a few big stars and their conference has only gotten tougher.
However, Harden fans haven’t given up hope that their favorite player will someday be a champion.
Will it be with the Clippers or will he move to yet another team before retirement?
Harden is sometimes unpredictable so it’s hard to know his next move.
But time is definitely starting to run out for his hopes of winning a championship.
