Some NBA fans have already made up their minds about Russell Westbrook, and nothing he ever does is going to change their minds.

That’s what some players get when they play for the Los Angeles Lakers, and it’s not like he should have anything left to prove at this point in his career.

Even so, he continues to show that he’s madly in love with the game of basketball, and he’s going to play anywhere, anytime, and in any role that’s needed of him to keep his career going.

As shown in a clip shared by Beastbrook on X, the former MVP is back in the gym and getting in shape for the upcoming campaign.

Replacing Reggie Jackson with Russell Westbrook is a massive upgrade for the Denver Nuggets.

Whether they’re going to have him starting or coming off the bench remains to be seen, but he could be of help in both roles.

Jamal Murray isn’t a true point guard and could play on and off the ball, and Westbrook could also adapt and embrace whichever role they need from him.

Granted, they lost a great three-point shooter like Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Westbrook has never been known for his efficiency from beyond the arc.

Still, it’s crazy to see some fans acting as if having Westbrook on the Nuggets isn’t a big deal or would only make them worse.

We’re talking about a future first-ballot Hall of Famer, and he clearly still has more than enough left in the tank.
