The Atlanta Falcons are gearing up for a challenging Week 3 matchup against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday night.

With a 1-1 record, the Falcons have shown promise but still have areas to improve.

Bijan Robinson has emerged as a standout in the rushing attack, providing a silver lining for the team.

As game day approaches, the Falcons have listed five players as inactive: rookies RB Jase McClellan, DT Brandon Dorlus, DT Ruke Orhorhoro, OL Jovaughn Gwyn, and OT Brandon Parker.

The injury report leading into the weekend was relatively straightforward.

Tyler Allgeier (hip), James Smith-Williams (hip), and Antonio Hamilton (groin), who were previously dealing with issues, all participated fully in Friday’s practice, indicating positive progress for Atlanta.

Defensive tackles Grady Jarrett and David Onyemata, along with offensive tackle Jake Matthews, were either held out or limited during Friday’s practice.

However, this was merely for rest purposes, suggesting they should be ready for the upcoming game.

Facing the Chiefs presents a significant challenge for the Falcons.

After struggling to contain mobile quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts, Atlanta’s defense needs to make quick adjustments.

Grady Jarrett’s performance will be crucial in pressuring Mahomes and limiting big plays.

The Falcons aim to maintain their momentum, but they’ll need to elevate their game considerably to keep pace with the Chiefs’ dynamic offense.
