Despite going through some drastic changes during the NFL offseason, many of the changes made by the Chicago Bears were thought to be the right ones, with the storied franchise potentially bringing in his first franchise quarterback in former USC superstar Caleb Williams, with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Williams, along with other notable additions like wide receiver Keenan Allen and rookie Rome Odunze, were considered game-changing moves for Chicago, resulting in a promising start for the Bears to the 2024 NFL season.
Unfortunately, outside of a season-opening win over the Tennessee Titans, which wasn’t pretty by any means, the Bears have struggled during the first three games of the season.
The Bears have now lost two games in a row, and head coach Matt Eberflus seems to be the target of a lot of fans’ anger and disappointment, with Chicago now sitting at 1-2.
It didn’t even take 3 full games for Poles’ decision to bring back Matt Eberflus as a mistake.

It’s really starting to look like the Bears are going to have to fire the coaching staff and do the whole thing where the second year QB has to start over, again.

With the pressure on in Chicago, things likely won’t get easier for Eberflus from here on out, especially if he can’t turn things around for the Bears, starting with Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams.
Even though there’s been a lot of hype around Williams and what he can bring to this struggling franchise, it’ll be interesting to see where things go from here, as the rookie quarterback and his head coach will be put under the microscope.
