The Kansas City Chiefs are the best team in the NFL.
They also got several 50/50 calls to go their way on Sunday.
Both are true, and both can coexist.
That’s why NFL insider Albert Breer went on to compare them with the Tom Brady New England Patriots, stating that they’re both similar in several ways, including getting the ‘Michael Jordan treatment’ from referees.
The Chiefs have mirrored the old Patriots in a lot of ways, and I guess getting the Michael Jordan treatment from the refs is another one.

The Chiefs have gotten some lucky breaks during their run.
That doesn’t mean the referees are the reason why they’ve been so successful.
People often had the same conversation when it came to Tom Brady and the Patriots.
It’s not unusual to see referees favoring big-name players; it happens in all sports.
It’s not ideal, it’s not right, and it shouldn’t happen, but it’s definitely not unprecedented.
At the end of the day, human error is a part of sports, and that’s why opposing teams cannot put the game in the referees’ hands.
You have an entire game to establish your dominance, do things right, and win.
Even if it might seem like it, it never comes down to a single play or moment.
