Kentavious Caldwell-Pope spent the last two seasons playing for the Denver Nuggets, where he won his second championship ring and became an important part of the team’s culture.

But Caldwell-Pope is moving on and recently signed a new deal with the Orlando Magic.

The team might greatly benefit from that move, according to Patrick Beverley.

On the latest episode of his show, Beverley said Caldwell-Pope is going to bring “toughness” to the team and will be able to put up 15 to 20 points a night.

Plus, he will guide the younger players with his experience and wisdom, giving them a “how-to” manual about how to win.

Caldwell-Pope may not be a household name to many but he’s had an outstanding career.

He is a two-time champion who has averaged 11.4 points and 3 rebounds during his 11 seasons and has shot 42.7% from the field.

He started with the Detroit Pistons in 2013 and then worked his way over to the Los Angeles Lakers, where he scored his first title.

After one season with the Washington Wizards, Caldwell-Pope traveled to the Nuggets, where he immediately got to work.

Caldwell-Pope is a super helpful player who doesn’t get as much fanfare or attention as players like LeBron James or Nikola Jokic, but he’s consistently very valuable.

He knows how to score, has confidence in his game, and can quietly dismantle an opposing team’s defense.

The Magic are lucky to have him, especially right now as they are trying to gain more experience and build on their youthful chemistry.

The addition of Caldwell-Pope could take the Magic to the next level and help them become one of the best teams in a very crowded and tough Eastern Conference.
