Rasheed Wallace spent multiple years playing alongside Ben Wallace with the Detroit Pistons.

During that time, Rasheed loved the chemistry they had when on the court together.

On “The Sheed & Tyler Show”, Rasheed said he used to refer to Wallace as “clockwork” because “a clock does the same thing every time.”

Ben Wallace joined the Pistons in the 2000-01 season and immediately brought a lot of power to the team.

He was competitive, relentless, and constantly praised for his defensive powers, which is why he won Defensive Player of the Year four times and was the rebounding and block champion too.

A few years later, Rasheed joined the Pistons and went to work closely with Ben.

He loved how similar they were.

They had playing styles that matched perfectly with one another and Rasheed remembers traveling down the court with Ben hot on his heels, ready to help him out.

These two were at the center of the Pistons when the team won the championship in 2004.

They are still celebrated as one of the best duos in the team’s history.

Unfortunately, their partnership came to an end in 2006-07, when Ben left the Pistons and traveled to the Chicago Bulls.

After that, he moved to the Cleveland Cavaliers and then finally came back to the Pistons before retiring in 2011-12.

He helped out his other teams and still played with a ferocious fighting spirit but he never had a period in the NBA that was like his time with Rasheed in Detroit.
