The Cincinnati Bengals entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations.
It’s been three weeks, and they have yet to record their first win of the season.
Granted, all of their losses have come by one possession, but the fact of the matter is that they’re 0-3.
When asked about their start to the season, HC Zac Taylor only had one word to sum it up: Frustrating (via Around the Jungle).

He acknowledged that they didn’t expect to be in this position to start the year.
However, it is what it is, so it’s now up to them to get back on track.
The Bengals should’ve won two of those games, at least on paper.
Losing in the season opener to the New England Patriots in Jerod Mayo’s debut was a terrible omen.
And while some might argue that the referees cost them a win over the Kansas City Chiefs, there’s just no point in debating it anymore.
The Bengals’ defense needs some major changes, and while the offense finally clicked in the loss to the Washington Commanders, they won’t win many games if they keep allowing 38 points.
Just six teams have ever been able to climb their way out of a 0-3 hole and make the playoffs.
And while Joe Burrow and Taylor’s Bengals have a history of starting slow before ramping things up, they will now have their backs against the wall for the next month or so at the very least.
Their margin for error just got significantly narrower.
