The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of back-to-back disappointing losses at home.
Aside from the second half against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, they were thoroughly dominated in each of those games.
Now sitting at 1-2 with a Thursday night game against the rival New York Giants coming up, ESPN host Mike Greenberg recently decided to put Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on blast.
“I believe that Jerry Jones the owner has let down Jerry Jones the general manager…The owner doesn’t treat free agency like it starts in September…(The Cowboys’) spending has been the lowest in the NFL,” Greenberg said on Get Up Wednesday.

Jones has created some very good teams over the last few seasons.
Dallas is coming off three consecutive 12-win seasons thanks to the job done by head coach Mike McCarthy and thanks to the roster work that Jones and the rest of the front office have done.
However, they have only been able to win one playoff game over the last three years and have continued to struggle to climb the Super Bowl mountain.
A lot of that has to do with Jones’s inability to make moves during the free agency period.
After losing significant names such as All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith, Pro Bowl running back Tony Pollard, Pro Bowl linebacker Leighton Vander Esch (retirement), Pro Bowl cornerback Stephon Gilmore, and a few other key names, the team didn’t do a whole lot to replace them.
To make matters worse, they handed out two of the largest contracts in NFL history to two of their best players in quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, but that duo simply hasn’t been good enough to carry this team to the Super Bowl.
Dallas is a fine team, but Jerry Jones is seemingly unwilling to spend money on key free agents to get this team over the hump.
