The Dallas Cowboys cannot afford another setback.

Their schedule won’t get any easier, and they must bounce back after two big losses.

That’s why Jeff Saturday believes the New York Giants don’t stand a chance to beat them on Thursday Night Football.

Talking on ESPN’s First Take, the former offensive lineman talked about how the Cowboys must approach this game as a playoff contest and make a statement against a lesser opponent.

He thinks they can’t take their foot off the gas and should look to beat them by 40 points if that’s possible.

Per Saturday, it’ll be all about playing balanced football on offense and circling Malik Nabers on defense to make sure he doesn’t get going.

While the Cowboys’ biggest struggles have come on the ground, Saturday thinks that containing Nabers should be more than enough to help their case.

The Cowboys have beaten the Giants six times in a row, including two wins in which they scored at least 40 points last season (40-0 and 49-17).

The Giants are coming off their first win of the season and looked much better against the Cleveland Browns, but they have a long history of struggles against Mike McCarthy’s team.

Whatever the case, the Cowboys can’t afford to fall to 1-3 with the brutal stretch they have ahead of them if they want to be a playoff team.

Whether they’ll be able to do it remains to be seen.
