Fresh off World Series MVP win, Freddie Freeman takes kids trick-or-treating

When you’re a World Series hero, you probably don’t need to dress up for Halloween.

At least that seemed to be the case for Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman on Thursday, who took his three kids trick-or-treating less than 24 hours after clinching the World Series victory in New York City.

In a post to Instagram by his wife, Chelsea, the Freeman boys can be spotted dressed up as Marvel’s Iron Man, Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk for Halloween.

Video attached to the post showed the World Series MVP dressed up as another superhero: Himself. The costume-less Freeman put on one of the most legendary performances in World Series history against the New York Yankees with four home runs — including the first-ever walk-off grand slam in series history in Game 1.

Even though Dodgers’ celebrations lasted well into the A.M. hours on Thursday, and the team plane didn’t land at LAX until later that morning, Freeman still made time for the kiddos. Maybe a relaxing night on Thursday will allow him to let loose for the team’s victory parade and celebration Friday.
