The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up for a challenging Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

A Week 3 loss to the Denver Broncos has raised questions about the Bucs’ offense, while the Eagles bring a formidable defense.

Given Tampa Bay’s recent struggles, Philadelphia enters as a road favorite.

Adding to the Buccaneers’ concerns, a significant number of players are dealing with injuries.

“There are 16 total players on the team’s injury report,” wrote Scott Smith of buccaneers.com.

On offense, wide receivers Mike Evans (knee) and Chris Godwin (neck) were limited in practice, along with center Graham Barton (ankle), tackle Luke Goedeke (concussion) and running back Bucky Irving (hamstring).

Wide receiver Kameron Johnson (ankle) and tight end Ko Kieft (ankle) were unable to practice.

On defense, the Buccaneers saw full participation from linebacker K.J. Britt (knee), cornerback Jamel Dean (knee) and outside linebacker Yaya Diaby (abdominal).

However, defensive linemen William Gholston (knee), Logan Hall (foot) and Vita Vea (knee) were limited.

More concerning, defensive tackle Calijah Kancey (calf) and safety Antoine Winfield Jr. (foot) were held out of practice.

The Buccaneers are hopeful that at least some of these players will recover in time to face the Eagles.

This NFC matchup is pivotal for Tampa Bay as it seeks to regain momentum and demonstrate its ability to compete against playoff-caliber opponents.

The performance in this game could set the tone for their season moving forward, especially considering the challenges posed by their current injury situation.
