– When we settle our budgets at the end of the year, we will put in 10 million for the men’s handball World Cup, says Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre to the channel.
The Norwegian Handball Association is the main organizer of the world championship, which is played in January and February. Parts of it have also been added to Denmark and Croatia. The association’s application for NOK 16 million in 2022 was refused.
Then a new application of NOK 10 million was rejected before this week’s good news.
