– Over the past few months, we have experienced increased caution among consumers, especially related to nightlife. In addition, we see that cross-border trade is increasing significantly, which also affects us, writes head of communications Stina Kildedal-Johannessen at Hansa Borg and Solera Norway in an email to BT.
Solera Norge is a subsidiary that supplies beverages to Vinmonopolet, shops, hotels and restaurants.
She confirms that the company will downsize.
– I cannot go into detail about how many people will be affected by downsizing, she writes.
She says that different parts of the organization in Norway are affected, “across functions and areas”.
– We are working to solve it in the best possible way to limit the scope, writes Kildedal-Johannessen.
The company has a number of subsidiaries, including Nøgne Ø in Grimstad and Olden Brevatn in Oldedalen. According to the communications manager, Hansa Borg and Solera Norge have around 370 employees.
