Throne And Liberty: How To Change Servers

Throne and Liberty have many different ways for players to interact with one another, either working together as a guild or fighting against one another in PVP. To play with your friends, you’ll need to be in the same server, with that server also having various factors that will influence who you’ll be playing with.

Throne and Liberty have many servers that opened up along with the early access players who paid to jump into the game early. For those waiting to join in at the official launch, you may also be wondering if other players in your server will already be five days ahead of you; here’s all you need to know about servers and transferring between them.

How To Change Servers In Throne And Liberty

Transferring to a different server will require a Server Transfer Ticket, which can be purchased in the shop of the main menu found in the top right. The Server Transfer Ticket will cost 750 Lucent and will be a one-day transfer ticket, with there being a limit of purchasing two in a day. To change servers, stay in the shop and look to the top right of the screen for the Change Servers button.

Before you can transfer servers, there are nine things that need to be clear first:

  • Your character is level 1 or above.
  • You are currently in a safe zone.
  • You are currently not in a party.
  • You are currently not in a guild.
  • You do not have any pending guild applications.
  • You have no unclaimed Auction House Items.
  • All mail has been claimed.
  • All Shop Storage Chests items have been claimed.
  • All Gate Of Infinity rewards have been claimed.

If all of these things are clear, you can access the ticket. These tickets say they are 1 Day tickets because once activated, you have 24 hours to determine which server you want to join and transfer over to it. As long as a server is not full, you are able to begin the transfer, after which you will be kicked out of the game and can rejoin in your new server. There are some servers that are limited by platform, letting players not engage in cross-play if they don’t want to.

All progress made in your old server will carry over to your new server.

Early Access Servers Vs Launch Servers

Throne And Liberty: How To Change Servers

Launch servers can only be joined or transferred to by characters that were made after the game’s official release. Early Access servers can be joined or transferred to by any character no matter when they were made, though this carries the difficulty of being behind all other players. Early access characters can’t transfer to launch servers at all, meaning they can’t join in and dominate PVP right after launch and will be forced to fight on an even playing field.
