– When will the war end? When Russia wants it. When the US takes a stronger position. When the Global South stands with Ukraine and supports an end to the war, Zelenskyy said in a meeting with representatives of foreign media at a conference on food security in Kyiv on Saturday.
– It won’t be easy. But I am sure that we have good chances to achieve it next year, Zelenskyy said, according to the Ukrainian News Agency Ukrainian form.
He added that he wants to hear proposals from US President-elect Donald Trump, who claimed several times during the election campaign that he can end the war within 24 hours.
