In the east of the country, in an area where Hezbollah is strong, at least 16 people were killed, eight of whom were in the town of Shmestar, the Lebanese Ministry of Health said.
In the south of the country, in another Hezbollah bastion, at least 14 people were killed, including five in the coastal town of Tyre.
At the same time, the authorities state that the number of people killed after the extensive Israeli rocket attack on an apartment block in the center of Beirut on the night of Saturday has risen from 11 to 20. Over 60 were injured.
A Hezbollah leader was probably the target of the attack.
