Hospital needs help identifying woman found injured in downtown Los Angeles

A local hospital needs help identifying a woman who was found injured in downtown Los Angeles.

The female patient was found lying on the ground near 6th Street on Nov. 19.

She was transported to the Los Angeles General Medical Center where she remains hospitalized. Staff are hoping to locate her family members.

She is described as a Black woman around 45 years old. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs around 98 pounds. She has black thin braids, brown eyes and a very thin build.

The woman does not have any personal belongings to help workers identify her or contact loved ones.

Anyone who recognizes her is asked to call clinical social worker Cesar Robles at 323-409-6884.

The public can also call the L.A. General Medical Center’s Department of Clinical Social Work at 323-409-5253 or on weekends, 323-409-5254. Callers can also contact the Department of Emergency Medicine, Social Work Department at 323-409-6883.
