Irina Shayk is giving a rare peek into motherhood.

“In 🖤with ….. ” the model captioned an Instagram post on Sunday, October 13. The collection of photos featured a selfie with her 7-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine, whom Shayk, 38, shares with ex-boyfriend Bradley Cooper.

The mother-daughter duo is sitting on a beach in the photo. Lea can be seen grinning as she holds a dog while sitting next to her mom. A second photo in the Instagram carousel shows Lea standing at the water’s edge while looking at the ocean.

Shayk and Cooper, 49, dated from 2015 to 2019, welcoming their daughter in March 2017.

From couple to coparents! Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk preferred to keep their romance quiet over the years, but throughout their relationship, they have found a way to stay friends. The A Star Is Born actor and the model were first spotted spending time together in New York in April 2015. The duo made their […]

“He’s the best father Lea and I could dream of,” Shayk told Elle of Cooper in November 2023. “It always works, but it always works because we make it work.”

While the model has kept her life as a mom on the low-key side, Cooper has spoken candidly about how fatherhood saved him.

The actor admitted in February that he’s “not sure” that he would be alive if not for his daughter. (He appeared to be referring to his past addiction struggles.)

“I just needed someone to say, like, ‘We’re gonna drop this massive anchor.’ I’m like, ‘Why? We’re speeding! I just got an upgrade on the boat, and I know where the wind’s coming in,’” Cooper explained on the “Armchair Expert” podcast. “They’re like, ‘No, no, no, there’s a tsunami coming in, and you need an anchor and we’re gonna drop it.’ Because this is gonna dictate everything you do from now on. Your DNA is going to tell you that there’s something more important than you.”

Cooper went on to say that he would “die in a second” for his daughter with “no question” after initially being unsure of his feelings.

“I’m always like, if I’m being honest, ‘Eh, I don’t know.’ The first, like, eight months I’m like, ‘I don’t even know if I really love the kid.’ It’s dope, it’s cool, I’m watching this thing morph, and then all of a sudden,” he recalled. “My experience was totally that. Fascinated by it, love taking care of it.”

Cooper even gave his daughter her first acting credit with a cameo in his movie Maestro, which was released earlier this year. Lea played the younger version of Maya Hawke’s character, Jamie Bernstein, in the Netflix movie.

“Her mother and I are bowled over at this human being that we’re raising that is able to articulate, and by the way, in her voice,” Cooper gushed over his daughter in the same podcast episode. “I don’t even think I found what my speaking voice was really like until a couple years ago.”
