WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Hydraulic Avenue is closing in northeast Wichita on Tuesday, starting at 5 a.m.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says crews will be installing a girder. The road will be closed until at least noon on Oct. 16.
Traffic exiting from Kansas Highway 96 onto Hydraulic will have to turn right towards 37th Street North, while traffic exiting off of southbound Interstate 135 will have to turn right onto 29th Street.
KDOT says access to businesses located between K-96 and I-135 on Hydraulic will be maintained.
Motorists could see delays in the area during the closure.
