– There is a passenger train on its way from Dombås to Åndalsnes that has derailed inside the station area at Dombås. There are no injuries, says press officer Mari Rjaanes in Bane Nor to NTB.
She says it is too early to say how long it will take before traffic can resume.
– It is too early to say how long it will take to get this properly back on track. We expect to provide an update during the evening. It’s been fifteen minutes since I got the message, says Rjaanes.
– We currently do not have an overview of any damage to trains or infrastructure, she adds.
According to one traffic announcement from SJ Norge, the derailment must have occurred at low speed, and there will be buses for trains on the set route.
