Recently it became known that Olsen Solberg is retiring at the end of the season. Sunday’s contribution could prove to be decisive for the club he has played for for a number of years.
The return match will be played in Grimstad next Saturday.
A quarter of an hour earlier came the home team’s equaliser, and it was the substitutes who stood up. Martin Rønning Ovenstad forced a goalkeeper save and further blocked the return ball that was put in by Mathias Bringaker.

Mjøndalen controlled the field game, but Jerv succeeded well in lying low and betting on counterattacks. After the break, the visitors continued to clear well, but then the situation came which made it 1-1.
MIF played in the Eliteserien in 2015 and later three seasons in a row from 2019 to 2021, but is now fighting to avoid an existence at level three for the first time since 2008.
Jerv debuted in the Eliteserien in 2022, but moved straight down again. The following year continued the decline to the 2nd division.
