The New York Knicks have been among the most highly discussed teams in the NBA during the offseason.

This roster has gone through massive changes recently, as they look to compete more effectively in the 2024-2025 season.

After the Boston Celtics dominated the Eastern Conference, teams like the Knicks recognized that they had to put up a better fight to stop them.

This is why they added a player like Mikal Bridges, hoping he can come alongside Jalen Brunson and be another star on the roster.

While they have a great core of players together, one that fans and analysts are excited about, it comes at a price.

The Knicks do lack experience, which could rear its head during a potentially deep playoff push.

As analyst Vince Goodwill said on Sirius XM NBA Radio, “There’s only one player on the roster with ten years of experience, and that’s Julius Randle.”

It will be interesting to see if the Knicks make any other veteran moves during the offseason to try and combat this.

Having a young team can be helpful in certain instances, but during the playoffs, experience is key.

Players can be youthful, energetic, and have a lot of spunk, but that playoff experience is what often brings teams further in the season.

The season is slated to start in just over a month, giving NBA fans something to look forward to after a lull without any action.

Will the Knicks’ offseason moves pay off how they’re expecting?
