The New Orleans Saints might be the hottest team in the NFL right now.
After the team blew the Carolina Panthers out of the building in Week One by putting up 47 points, Dennis Allen’s squad went on the road to face a much tougher opponent in the Dallas Cowboys in Week Two.
Again, New Orleans put up over 40 points in yet another blowout victory.
Former NFL player and current analyst Chris Long recently chatted about what makes this team so dangerous right now.
“They motion, they create…Alvin Kamara’s still dangerous…If they’re third and five, they will run the ball…They’ll go play-action off it and that makes their third-down offense better,” Long said on Green Light.

The Saints put up over 430 yards of total offense on Sunday against what was supposed to be one of the league’s top defenses.
Star running back Alvin Kamara put up a total of 180 yards and four touchdowns on 22 touches.
It is very evident that the five-time Pro-Bowler is still one of the best offensive players in the league at age 29.
Veteran quarterback Derek Carr only had five incompletions and recorded three touchdowns.
Speedy wide receiver Rashid Shaheed put up four catches for 96 yards and a touchdown too.
Defensively, Dennis Allen’s unit sacked Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott three times and forced him to throw multiple interceptions.
With what is happening in Carolina right now, the Week One win against the Panthers could have been seen as a fluke for New Orleans.
But after putting a whooping down on the Cowboys, it looks like the Saints have the chance to be real players in the NFC.
